What exactly is Keto?

Before we dive in What is Keto at Mcdonalds, I would like to introduce Keto Diet for you. “Ketogenic” is a low-carb diet term. The idea is to take more protein and fat calories and less carbohydrates. You reduce most on easy to digest carbohydrates, such as sugar, soda, pastries and white bread.

How Does Keto Work?

 When you eat less than 50 grams of carbs a day, your body eventually runs out of fuel (blood sugar) that can be used fast. It usually takes about three or four days. You will then start breaking down protein and fat for energy, which can cause you to lose weight. That is called ketosis. Keep in mind that the ketogenic diet is a short-term diet based on weight loss rather than health benefits.

Who is supposed to use it?

People most often use a ketogenic diet to lose weight, but it can also help manage several medical conditions, such as epilepsy. It can also help people suffering from heart disease, other brain diseases and even acne.

A ketogenic diet helps you lose more weight than other diets in the first 3 to 6 months. That may be because changing fat into energy takes more calories than changing carbs into energy. It’s also true that a high-fat and high-protein diet would satisfy you more, so you’re eating less.

McDonald’s is a popular fast-food restaurant chain that can be well suited to those on the Keto diet. Because of the variety of places, I thought that many people would find a guide on selecting low carb choices helpful. Try Keto at Mcdonalds

In McDonald’s, I mostly had good experiences eating Keto. Usually they prepare it for you in a plastic container when you ask for a sandwich without a bun. They even sometimes include large pieces of leaf lettuce, which is great! It acts as a superb substitute for the bun.

One thing that I like about McDonald’s is that most of them offer breakfast all day (at least in the United States). While it is usually made-to-order and takes a bit longer, it is very convenient to be able to pop up for breakfast at any time of day through the drive-thru. Keto at Mcdonalds is the best experience.

Like the tactics I’m using to eat Keto at Wendy’s, you’re going to want to stick to these basics:• Avoid heavy carbs: buns, french fries, wraps, bagels, cookies, etc.

Be aware of sugar-free iced coffee and dressings— the names may suggest low carb options, but they are full of carbohydrates.Sadly, McDonald’s no longer offers the Pico Guacamole Chicken Sandwich. It was great with grilled chicken and no bun! Keto at Mcdonalds is awesome

I find McDonald’s salad dressing options limited. I often choose dipping sauces instead of dressing. One ranch packet is 1 g of carbs only, compared to 10 g for a dressing packet!

Use the McDonald’s app to make deals and ease of use. The app lets you plan and place your order from your Smartphone directly. I like this option as it also gives me the functionality of adding condiments and removing the bun, etc.

⠀When you’re ready to go and pick up the food, just place the order and do one of the following:

1-Pick up the food in the drive-thru

2-Go inside to take your meal

3-Go into one of the designated parking spaces for mobile orders and they’ll bring it to you.

This is especially good for those who are still a little shy about ordering without bun.

Last but not least, the app usually has some kind of deal that you can take advantage of. For example, the McDonald’s app often features specials such as (buy one and get one) one and even special offers or free promotions when your local sports team wins.
